Creating business development opportunities between B.C. mine operators and suppliers is a core function of MSABC. MSABC hosts a series of networking events with the Mining Association of B.C. each year to help maintain old business ties and to create new relationships. MSABC also provides members with a suite of business development tools to help them stay on top of industry developments and to raise their company’s profile in the B.C. mining ecosystem.
For over 26 years, the MSABC Spring Fling has been the must-do event for B.C.’s mining industry, providing a wealth of networking opportunities with industry leaders while supporting important MSABC initiatives and charities. The Spring Fling includes a cocktail reception, a gourmet dinner with wine pairings, live music and an entertaining live auction.
Bob Hallbauer Memorial Invitational Golf Tournament
The Bob Hallbauer Memorial Invitational is our annual golf tournament for decision-makers from mining companies and leading mine service and supplies providers in B.C. This event includes an afternoon of golf at the University Golf Club in Vancouver, followed by cocktails, dinner and a silent auction in support of industry initiatives and charities.
The annual MSBAC and MABC Christmas reception is a great way to celebrate another year of mining and mineral exploration in B.C. This stand-up, cocktail reception features brief remarks from the leadership of MSABC and MABC and recognition of the student recipient of the Terry Mulligan Memorial Award. Formalities are kept to a minimum so attendees can focus on networking and celebrating the year’s accomplishments.
Professional Education Forum
In conjunction with the Christmas Reception, MSABC hosts an annual professional education form featuring expert panelists discussing topics of interest to our membership.
Industry Intelligence & Marketing
